Duocote lacerta and a bunch of other creepy-swimmy things that inhabit the surrounding reefs of the little island that they're all mushed together on.

[link]Mostly grassy grasslands, with patched, sparse forest and scrubland. The mountain in the middle's actually a dormant/dead volcano and the lake is located in what remains of the crater.

You are to design a prey animal for the island. It should be terrestrial and large enough to be considered medium or large game. It can have whatever sort of adaptations you want, be as big as you want, and be as hard to bring down as you want, but it must be
A) A herbivore
B) Medium/large
C) Terrestrial
And it should fit in with the rest of the beasties already living there. No wings/magicky sparkles, m'kay?
